Mohawk Valley Water Authority supports Hinckley Reservoir outflow reduction

By MIKE LaFAVE

REMSEN, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Mohawk Valley Water Authority is recommending a short term reduction in outflow from the Hinckley Reservoir.

The Water Authority says the deviation should begin at 1,188 feet to prevent reaching the 1,185 foot level that would put drinking water at risk.

The water level of the reservoir as of Tuesday night was 1,188.6 feet.
