Authorities to meet with woman stabbed during domestic dispute in Westmoreland

WESTMORELAND, N.Y. (WKTV) - Police are finally getting their chance to talk to the woman stabbed during a domestic dispute in Westmoreland on Monday night.

On Thursday, Jenise Haddad-Smith was still in the hospital, but had been upgraded from serious to fair condition.

Her estranged husband - Todd Smith - was also stabbed during the dispute, although he has since been released from Saint Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica.

Smith was found bleeding in the street near his parents home on Pazdur Boulevard. Haddad-Smith was found inside the house with injuries.

No charges have been filed yet in the case.

Now that police have talked with both individuals, they're meeting with the Oneida County District Attorney to discuss possible charges.

Police said they still don't know who stabbed whom.
