Senator Seward takes tour of new "clean room" at CTM Corporation

FRANKFORT, N.Y. (WKTV) - Senator James Seward toured a new clean room at a Herkimer County business Friday morning.

CTM Corporation in Frankfort recently built the clean room, which is used for things like medical packaging or anything that can't have contaminants in it.

Sales Engineer John Piseck said not having one limited the company, and having one now will help their business continue to grow.

"We built the scoop that's on Mars and that was about two years ago," Piseck said. "If we'd had a clean room in place, we would have been able to do more with that project."

CTM hopes to lease some of their "clean space" to the fast-growing nano-tech industry.
