New Old Navy opens with a bang
NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WKTV) - Several area residents lined up to wait for the official grand opening of the new Old Navy store in Consumer Square in New Hartford on Saturday.
The brand new store in same area as Walmart and TJ Maxx officially opened Saturday morning. Management says customers were lining up outside at 1:30 a.m., hoping to win some door prizes. One customer took home a 500 gift card, and another a 250-dollar gift card. Customers were treated to a live band, food and early bird specials. The old location was up the road just south on Commercial Drive near Hannaford's. Old Navy District Manager Johnya Cousineau says the move will produce better sales, "this center has a lot of traffic with all of the other retailers and food vendors, so it just makes it a natural fit for Old Navy." Cousineau says in conjunction with the grand opening, customers will find big sales all weekend long. |
