Blossvale man charged in Sylvan Beach stabbing

SYLVAN BEACH, N.Y. (WKTV) - A Blossvale man is now facing charges after authorities said he stabbed another man at a mobile home park in Sylvan Beach.

According to State Police, Harold F. Ortman, 27, of Blossvale, allegedly used a knife to stab an unidentified 31 year-old male in the Sylvan Beach Mobile Home Park on March 15.

Ortman has been charged with second-degree assault, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and second-degree menacing.

The victim was treated at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica and released.
