Herkimer County men accused of stealing snowmobile
OHIO, N.Y. (WKTV) - A snowmobile reported stolen from Boonville on February 23 has turned up at a residence in the Town of Ohio, leading to charges for two Herkimer County men.
According to State Police, Justin J. Postol, 21 and Gino R. Erb Jr., 16, both of Cold Brook, took a 2004 Arctic Cat snowmobile in February from a yard in Boonville and then took it to a residence in the Town of Ohio where it was ridden and kept there for roughly two weeks. The snowmobile was valued at $3,5000, State Police said. State Police recovered the snowmobile on March 12, and the two men were charged with criminal possession of stolen property. Both were arraigned in the Town of Newport Court and are scheduled to reappear in the Town of Ohio Court at a later date. |
