No one injured in Town of Russia shed fire
RUSSIA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Multiple fire departments were needed to put out a large fire in the Town of Russia Friday afternoon.
The fire broke out at a shed on Route 28 shortly after 3 p.m. Friday. According to the Poland Fire Chief, it actually began as a grass fire, but spread to the large shed. The blaze was fully involved when first responders arrived, with crews from Poland, Newport, Barneveld, and Prospect all making their way to the scene. There were no injuries and no one was inside the shed when the fire began. How the grass fire that started it all began is currently under investigation. |
