Colgate students arrested on drug charges

MARSHALL, N.Y. (WKTV) - Three Colgate university students are facing drug charges after being pulled over.

Oneida County Sheriff's Deputies say the students were returning to Colgate from spring break. They were stopped at a checkpoint because of an odor of marijuana coming from their car.

Investigators claim to have found weed and smoking devices inside the car.

Those arrested are:

Carolos Berdejo, 18, of Florida

Dean Cohn, 19, of Connecticut

Max Roberts, 20, of Connecticut

Cohn and Roberts both face unlawful possession of marijuana. Berdejo faces charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana.

All were released on appearance tickets and are due in Town of Marshall Court on April 19th.
