UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Utica firefighters are lining the streets with their boots off Friday to help out a great cause. It's all part of the department's annual Boot Drive to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Call of duty for off-duty firefighter rescues woman from burning shed

STOCKBRIDGE, N.Y. (WKTV) - An Oriskany Falls volunteer firefighter was in the right place at the right time when the call of duty came in. Dale Petrie was driving home when he saw smoke coming from property on 6677 East Hill Road in Stockbridge. He said that on Monday night he helped an elderly woman free herself from the burning shed in which she was living.
