Dolgeville man accused of stealing jewelry from Salisbury residence

SALISBURY, N.Y. (WKTV) - A Dolgeville man has been charged after police say he stole jewelry from a Town of Salisbury residence.

The State Police investigation determined that on March 31, 2010, Matthew B. Thompson, 20, of Dolgeville stole jewelry valued at more than $1,000 from a residence in the Town of Salisbury. Thompson was arrested and charged with one count of fourth-degree grand larceny.

He was arraigned in the Town of Fairfield Court and sent to the Herkimer County Correctional Facility en lieu of $5,000 cash bail and $10,000 bail bond.

Thompson is scheduled to re-appear in the Town of Fairfield Court on April 14, 2010.
