Fugitive from justice charged during release from Midstate Correctional

MARCY, N.Y. (WKTV) - A 26 year old man was arrested again as he was being released from Midstate Correctional Facility.

According to New York State Police, Jason Dobson, 26, was charged as a fugitive from justice as he was being released, after it was found that he had an active bench warrant from the Cape May, New Jersey Prosecutors Office.

Dobson was originally charged in New Jersey in April of 2009 with first-degree "conspiracy lead narcotics network" and subsequently failed to appear in court. He was arraigned in the Village of New York Mills Court and was sent to the Oneida County Jail in lieu of no bail pending extradition proceedings.
