FBI offers reward for information on trio of Utica bank robberies

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Federal Bureau of Investigation has announced that they will be offering a reward of up to $15,000 for information that leads to the arrest and prosecution of the person or persons responsible for three recent bank robberies in the City of Utica.

The robberies under investigation are the Utica District Telephone Employees Credit Union at 2812 Genesee Street on November 20, 2009; the First Source Federal Credit Union at 1634 Genesee Street on January 28, 2010, and the Empower Federal Credit Union at 1928 Genesee Street on April 23, 2010.

Utica Police said they continue to investigate and follow-up on leads, in attempts to determine if the three robberies are related.
