Update on two Utica shootings

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - New information was released Wednesday night  regarding two shootings last weekend in Utica. Utica police have arrested two suspects in connection with the shootings that occurred in the area of James and Miller Streets.
According to Utica Police 23-year old Ferris Bell of Utica was shot in the abdomen. Less than 24 hours later, 25-year old Kenneth Patterson of Utica was shot in the leg in the same location.

Now Utica Police have confirmed the arrest of Tristan Short and Charles Carter, both 24, of Utica in connection with the shooting of Ferris Bell.

Both face first degree robbery charges. Utica police are searching for two other suspects as well. Police say the two shootings, however, are not connected.
