November trial date set for teen Cooperstown shooting suspect

COOPERSTOWN, N.Y. (WKTV) - A new trial date has been set for the Cooperstown teen accused of shooting a classmate in the Cooperstown Police Station in early April.

Anthony Pacherille will now go to trial in Otsego County Court on November 1.

Pacherille is accused of chasing 16 year old Wesley Lippitt down Main Street in Cooperstown carrying a 22 caliber rifle, and into the village police station, where he shot Lippitt, before turning the gun on himself.

Pacherille is charged with attempted second-degree murder as a hate crime, among other charges.
