Watson Williams students bust a move at Dance Performance

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Students at Watson Williams Elementary School have been hard at work over the past few months, prepping for Wednesday's annual Dance Performance.

The kids learned a variety of different forms of dance including salsa...ballet and even some hip-hop!

Their teacher, Christy Cannistra-Tibets, says its great way to bring the kids together as the school year comes to a close,"dance assesses multiple intelligence and all the students here take daily dance activities. It's a great experience for kids at the school. Some students don't have the opportunity to take dance outside of school so its great to have it built into their curriculum."

The kids even put on a tribute to the late king of pop Michael Jackson.
