By WKTV News

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV)--The Boilermaker Charity Bib program raises money for local organizations and this year the ARC Oneida Lewis Chapter received the most funds.

In total 11 organizations share 200 bibs for the big race, the ARC Oneida-Lewis Chapter received ten bibs this year. The organization was able to raise $15,000.
"The ARC Oneida-Lewis helps people with disabilities, and unfortunately a lot of these programs we do serve are under-funded," Steve Gassner, a representative with the ARC said."This will help fund those under-funded programs like children's services."
Boilermaker officials say the program is possible because of the help from local businesses, that sponsor the bib program.
