About 400 people turn out for health fair at SUNYIT

(WKTV) - About 400 people passed through the doors of the SUNYIT gym Tuesday looking for information on living a healthier life.

A wellness fair was set up that include eye doctors, drug stores, massage therapists and the Oneida County Health Department, which was offering vaccines.

The goal is to get people to go to the event, get educated and make a change in their life.

Stacey Genther, a health educator at SUNYIT, said the fair increases awareness and provides an opportunity of for education.

This is the 15th year for the event, which happens every spring. About 80 vendors were on hand Tuesday.
