Alcohol, speed believed to be factors in Barneveld roll-over

BARNEVELD, N.Y. (WKTV) - Oneida County Sheriff's deputies responded to a roll-over crash in the Town of Barneveld Wednesday just after 11 p.m.

According to the Sheriff's Department, Perry Williams, 25, was driving west on Korber Road when he lost control of his vehicle on the icy roadway.

His Chevy Equinox went off the road, into a ditch,flipped over, and landed back on the road, but pinned Williams' arm underneath it.

Firefighters worked in below zero temperatures to free Williams from the wreck.

He was taken by ambulance to St. Elizabeth Medical Center.

Williams was issued several traffic tickets.
