NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WKTV) - The New Hartford Animal Hospital is picking up the tab for the woman who was reunited with her dog after searching for more than a year.

On Friday, Dr. Frank Mondi said he would take care of the bill.

"The staff here is amazing," Johnson said while fighting back tears. "And I'm just so thankful for Dr. Mondi and his staff for everything they've done. Marshall had a bad tooth. a wound that opened on the side of his face and was quite severe."

Marshall the dog was found and turned in on December 9 after being missing for 16 months.
