Anonymous young girl drops off flood donations at Mohawk FD

MOHAWK, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Mohawk Fire Department is on the lookout for a Good Samaritan.

The department, which has been the disaster relief headquarters for the past ten days, received a visitor Sunday afternoon, who dropped off a bottle filled with change to help out flood victims.

The volunteers inside the firehouse couldn't believe it when they saw the 10-12 year old girl drop it off and leave, asking to remain anonymous.

Mohawk Fire Chief Dan Mabbett says the people of Mohawk have really come together over the past ten days to help each other out, and says he couldn't be more proud to live in this community.
