Applebee's to offer free meals to veterans, military personnel today

(WKTV) - Applebee's will be offering free meals to veterans and active duty military personnel on Veterans Day.

Service members with proof of U.S. military service can choose one free entree from Applebee's Veterans Day menu. Among the choices are: 7-ounce house sirloin, bacon cheddar cheeseburger, three-cheese chicken and sun dried tomato penne, fiesta lime chicken, double crunch shrimp, chicken tenders platter and oriental chicken salad.

Offer is valid for dine-in only during regular business hours. Proof of service includes U.S. Uniform Services Identification Card, U.S. Uniform Services Retired Identification Card, current leave and earnings statement, veterans organization card, photograph in uniform or wearing uniform, DD214, citation or commendation.

Applebee's in the Utica area are at 300 Riverside Drive in Utica, 630 W. State St. in Herkimer, 4755 Commercial Drive in New Hartford, 1794 Black River Blvd. in Rome, 5006 State Highway 23 in Oneonta and 223 N. Comrie Johnstown.
