Area high school students head to camp at Faxton St. Luke's Healthcare

By WKTV News

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Summer is a time when young people head to camp, but this year a number of area kids are heading to MediCamp.
It's a two day medical camp designed to demonstrate to teens how a hospital operates and provides them with the opportunity to explore different departments for potential career paths.
Kids from ten area districts took part on Thursday and Friday.
All applicants submitted a brief essay explaining why they are interested in healthcare and what their goals are for participating in the program.
