By WKTV News

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Artists from around the region sold their works of art for a good cause, Saturday.

Seven artists set up kiosks at The Other Side on Genesee St. for an Art Garage Sale.

Various types of art work were sold at the event, such as sculptures, paintings, and pottery.

The items were sold for different prices, with the maximum being sold for $100.

All proceeds went to The Other Side, with people braving the cold for the cause.

"They are great Christmas gifts," said President of The Other Side, Orin Domenico. "Personally, I own Café Demonico, and we're supporters of local artists' business, and this is a way to shop for Christmas to get unique gifts for friends that keep your money in your community."

The Garage Sale will continue again, Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
