At least one person taken to hospital after three-car accident in Utica

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - At least one person was taken to the hospital after a three vehicle crash in Utica on Thursday afternoon.

The accident happened around 2:30 on Thursday at the intersection of Eagle Street and Conkling Street in Utica.

Utica Police and the Utica Fire Department responded to the scene and one driver was pulled from the wreckage and placed on a stretcher before being transported to a local hospital.

Traffic near the scene was tied up for a bit and it is not known at this writing as to who was at fault or the extent of the driver's injuries.
