Author native to Utica promotes book at Utica College

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - World-renowned author and human rights activist James Zogby made a stop in Utica Monday night.

James Zogby is the older brother of famous pollster John Zogby, both are Utica natives.

James Zogby is the founder of the Arab-American Institute. He also serves on the national advisory board of the American Civil Liberties Union and is the author of several books.

Monday, he promoted his new book 'Arab Voices' at Utica College. Zogby says despite the fame and international acclaim, his home audience means the most. "For me this is a homecoming....I've been all over the world...this is the stop that means the most to me," he said.
