Authorities ask public's help in finding missing man

CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Authorities are looking for the public's assistance in locating a missing man who they say has life-threatening medical conditions.

According to authorities, Harvey Walters, 64, went missing from Canandaigua on Sunday, February 19 and has not been seen since.

Walters is said to a paranoid Schizophrenic and is an insulin-dependent diabetic who also has other life-threatening medical conditions, police said. He may be confused and in need of immediate medical attention.

He may be using public transportation, such as bus or train and may be attempting to travel to California.

He described as a 64 year old white male with brown eyes, is bald and weights 180 pounds. He is 5' 8" in height.
