Authorities investigate armed robbery at Harbor Freight in Yorkville

YORKVILLE, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Oneida County Sheriff's Office together with Whitestown Police are investigating an robbery that occurred Thursday night around 9 p.m. at the Harbor Freight Store on Commercial Drive in Yorkville.

According to investigators, two men who appeared to be in their early twenties - a white male and a black male - entered the store just before 9 p.m., displaying what appeared to be handguns and demanding money.

The duo made off with an undisclosed amount of money, last seen leaving towards Commercial Drive in a dark, older model, squared vehicle, which authorities say might possibly have been an SUV.

Anyone who was in the area between 8 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Thursday night, and may have seen anything suspicious, is asked to call the Oneida County Sheriff's Office at 315-765-2737.
