VERONA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The man who was wanted as a "person of interest" in an arson investigation on Oneida Indian Nation property has cleared his name with the Oneida County Sheriff's Office.

The Oneida Indian Nation (working with the Oneida County Sheriff's Office) released surveillance photos on Wednesday of a man who they believed allegedly had information on Tuesday's fire on Patrick Road.

Authorities said that man saw his picture broadcast on television and went to the authorities, who say he is no longer considered a "person of interest."

The investigation into the fire still continues.

If you have any information on the fire, which broke out at 506 Patrick Road in the early morning hours of Tuesday, February 14, you can contact the Oneida County Sheriff's Office at 315-765-2307 or Oneida Nation Police at 315-829-8100.

All calls will be kept confidential.
