Authorities search for missing Port Leyden teen last seen in Rome

PORT LEYDEN, N.Y. (WKTV) - State Police announced Tuesday that they are searching for a Lewis County teen that they believe ran away from home almost two months ago.

According to New York State Police in Lowville, Truman J. Tennant, 17, went missing from his foster home in Port Leyden after they say he possibly ran away and was staying in the City of Rome. Authorities say he has been missing since October 3, 2011.

Truman is described as a white male, 5' 02" tall, 130 lbs., blond hair and blue eyes. He was last seen on Arsenal Street in Rome on November 7, 2011.

If anyone has information on the location of Tennant, they are asked to contact State Police in Lowville at (315) 376-6241.
