Back-to-back snow brings in sledders for Val Bialas

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Dozens took advantage of the winter weather, turning inches of snow into hours fun at the Val Bialas Sports Center in Utica.

Owner and President Mark Ford says the two storms, back-to-back, fell perfectly during the school break. In the last three days, Val Bialas as seen already half of the business they had last year.

Utica native and Charlotte resident Peter Casatelli brings his daughter, Leah, to visit Central New York each Christmas. This year, they were excited for the snow.

Casatelli said, "I love it, man. Just getting her out here to enjoy this weather is a dream for me."
