Benefit to help injured Sherburne teen set for Sunday

(WKTV) - A benefit for Megan Viera, who was badly injured in an August car accident near Eaton, will be from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.

The event will be at Magro's Banquet Hall, which is at 110 Sanitarium Road in Sherburne. Pork roast, rolls, salads, chips and fountain drinks will be served beginning at 2 p.m. There will also be a 50/50 raffle, a lottery board raffle, silent auction and Chinese auction, in addition to a DJ.

Singer Katie Stewart will perform from noon to 1:30 p.m. There is a $10 admission fee and tickets can be purchased at the door.

Viera was injured Aug. 8 in an automobile accident. She suffered serious head trauma and multiple injuries. She is a June graduate of Sherburne-Earlville Central School.
