UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - He started in radio as a high school junior in 1981. And in less than two weeks, long-time local radio personality Bill Keeler will return to the airwaves on morning radio, this time, on the a.m. side. Keeler kicks off the, "WIBX First News with Keeler in the Morning," on Monday, January 14, after a two-year absence from full-time morning radio. The show airs 6-9 a.m. The news component will be handled by Townsquare News Network Bureau Chief Kristine Bellino. The station manager says positions will be shuffled but no jobs lost as a result of the new program. Keeler tells us what listeners can expect from him in 2013 and beyond. "Obviously there's some things that don't fit on that station that might have been other stations I've been on. But I think it's just going to be me. I'm passionate about the area. I'm passionate about getting that interview we all try to get, so i'm really excited about it," says Keeler.
