Boilermaker Committee volunteer run held for those who put it all together

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Boilermaker is just one week away, and for those who will be working hard to make the race day happen next weekend, the big race was ran, Sunday.
The Boilermaker Committee volunteer run was held today, starting at the race's start line at ECR International and ending at the finish outside of the F.X. Matt Brewery.
The volunteer run is a way to give those who can't run because they are helping the event behind the scenes, or those who can't make it because of a prior obligation a way to experience America's Biggest 15k.
"A lot of the people on committee this is their last training run," said Race Director, Jim Stasaitis. "Then they will cool down this week, do jogging, but this is final test to make sure they can make it and they'll be ready for next week."

The full Boilermaker Road Race is this upcoming Sunday, July 13th.
