Bombing victims to be honored at Running Hall of Fame races

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Members of Utica's tightly-knit running community will pause at the start of next month's National Distance Running Hall of Fame Half Marathon and 5k races to honor those killed and injured at the Boston Marathon finish line and the first responders and citizens who ran toward the danger to help others.

Mary MacEnroe, of the National Distance Running Hall of Fame, says the moment of silence will occur prior to the start of the half-marathon at 8 a.m. on May 19, which takes off first, so that all runners can take part.
