Byrne Dairy coming to Oriskany Boulevard in Whitesboro

By WKTV News

WHITESBORO, N.Y. (WKTV) - As one building comes down, another is soon to go up in the Village of Whitesboro, along with some new economic opportunities.

The building on Oriskany Boulevard that was once occupied by Utica Sheet Metal is currently being torn down.

However, within roughly 90 to 120 days of demolition completion, Village Trustee Robert Friedlander says that a new Byrne Dairy will set up shop on the site.

Friedlander said that the facility will be similar in architecture to Byrne Dairy in Kirkland and in Old Forge. He said it will be open 24 hours a day, house a gas station, a small line of groceries, and what officials hope is the best part - will offer 25 to 35 new jobs at the location.
