Capital Project vote passes in Frankfort

FRANKFORT, N.Y. (WKTV) - Residents in the Frankfort-Schuyler School District passed a $7.5 Million Capital Improvement Project Tuesday night.

There were 191 voting yes and 167 voting no.

A portion of the money will go towards creating a more secure entrance-way in the elementary school and moving the main office. District Superintendent Robert Reina said the next step is to secure contractors for the work.

The district is hoping to break ground in about a year.
