Care & Share Energy Fund gets boost to help National Grid customers

(WKTV) - National Grid customers who need utility bill relief can get help from the Care & Share Energy Fund.

An additional $1 million has been donated by National Grid to the fund, which will help an additional 4,000 households.

To qualify, you must be a National Grid customer, receive HEAP and have received a shut-off notice.The maximum grant is $250.

HeartShare Human Services of New York administers the Care & Share Energy Fund.

Customers can apply for funds by visiting an intake center. Please call for an appointment first. If you live in an area without a local center, call 718-422-4207 or 718-422-4228 to apply via telephone.
