Chenango County Sheriff's Office seeks information on robbery

(WKTV) - The Chenango County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate an armed robbery that happened Sunday in the Town of Norwich.

The Kwik Fil convenience store on New York State Route 12 was robbed at about 7 p.m. Sunday, officials say. The suspect is described as a white male, about six-feet tall, with a medium build. He was wearing a black hoodie, light-colored jeans and dark-colored sneakers. The suspect appears to have disguised his face with a white bandanna or ski mask. The sheriff's office believes the suspect may have parked his car in the North Plaza.

Anyone who was in the area of the Kwik Fil or the North Plaza between 6 and 7 p.m. Sunday is asked to contact the Chenango County Sheriff's Office at (607) 334-2000. All calls will be kept confidential.
