City pools open for the season in Rome

ROME, N.Y. (WKTV) - The outdoor public swimming pools in the City of Rome are now open for the season. Tosti, Gryziec, Stevens and Guyer are all open as of Noon Monday.

The Sgt. Michael Uvanni Pool will be open for 2013 on July 1st at Noon.

The city will again track the number of users at all its pools this summer and review its numbers in fall during the budget sessions for consideration on what pools will open in the future.

There is no charge to use the Gryziec, Stevens and Guyer Field pools.

The fee for the City's pool at Tosti is $1.
