Clark Mills Legion hosts Corned Beef and Cabbage dinner

CLARK MILLS, N.Y. (WKTV) - In honor of St. Patrick's Day, many of the American Legion Posts in the area hosted Corned Beef and Cabbage dinners, including Post 26 in Clark Mills.
This day is named in honor of St. Patrick, a patron saint of Ireland who spent three decades converting pagans to Christianity. In America, people celebrate their Irish heritage whether or not they are actually Irish.
Proceeds from Sunday's event goes toward programs the Legion has to help area youth as well as local veterans.
