Clinton Central School to receive nearly $2 million in FEMA funds

By WKTV News

(WKTV) - U.S. Rep. Richard Hanna says the Clinton Central School District will receive nearly $2 million in FEMA funds.

Nine inches of flood water filled the school in July 2013. The gym and several classrooms also filled with mud and debris, with floors and walls soaked to the point of damage being caused to electrical and heating elements.

Flood waters also inundated the mechanical rooms, lower stage areas and gym floors, which caused irreversible damage.

The middle school and high school building were hardest hit.
