Cooperstown Cookie Co. is focus of "Unwrapped" segment

By WKTV News

FRANKFORT, N.Y. (WKTV) - A crew from the Food Network is in Central New York today, taping a segment for its show, "Unwrapped."

The episode spotlights Cooperstown Cookie Company; a wholesaler in Cooperstown that makes....what shortbread cookies. The cookies are wholesaled and sold online, but they're made right at De Iorio's Bakery on Bleecker Street in Frankfort.

Cooperstown Cookie Company owner, Pati Grady, loves the fact that the Network show catapults her niche business in the small Village of Cooperstown into a national spotlight, offering baking aficionados a chance to see the behind the scenes making of the product.

The episode featuring Cooperstown Cookie Company is expected to air on the Food Network in the spring, around opening day.
