By WKTV News

(WKTV) - Crews have called off the search for the day for a 32-year-old Camden man who went missing on Monday at Delta Lake.

The search will resume at 7 a.m. Wednesday.

Crews used sonar equipment, set up a grid for the search and received help from the state DEC. Boats and dive teams are in the water searching for William Cook, 32, of Camden. Authorities say Cook jumped into the water around 4:30 p.m. Monday to save a 14-year-old who jumped off the boat to swim.

Five people were on the boat, and authorities say Cook noticed the teen struggling and drifting from the boat. He jumped in to save him, and another boat passing by saved the teen.

Cook was unable to stay afloat and went under.
