Culinary event at the Turning Stone
VERONA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Chefs and food service professionals from around the region converged in Verona Monday for the 2013 American Culinary Federation Northeast Regional Conference at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino.
The event runs through March 20 and features educational seminars and workshops discussing current food service trends and culinary techniques.
There are also demonstrations and live chef competitions.
"They can come to see demonstrations of all kinds of things, from pastries to savories," said Mary Ann Kiernan Syracuse Chapter of American Culinary Federation.
Organizers said more than 400 are attended the event.
