Cuomo announces scholarship for students pursuing STEM careers

(WKTV) - A new scholarship program designed for students who are interested in a STEM career has been announced by Gov. Andrew Cuomo's office.

To qualify, a student must be in the top 10 percent of his or her graduating class, major in a science, technology, engineering or math field and work in a STEM job in the state for five years after graduation.

A student who qualifies would be eligible for full SUNY or CUNY tuition.
