OLD FORGE, N.Y. (WKTV) - It has been a month since 30 year old high school teacher Catherine Koestner died following a shooting at a motel in Old Forge, a month with no answers for her family, students, friends and colleagues.

That could change soon, however, as Herkimer County District Attorney Jeff Carpenter says that he expects specific information pertainign to the case to be released by the end of the week.

Carpenter said he met with Koestner's family for the second time late last week.

She died of a single gunshot wound to the head, but it is has been unclear if Koestner was murdered, took her own life, or if the death was an accident.
