DEC finishing up clean-up of former Chenango Import Motors site

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The former site of Chenango Import Motors in north Utica will soon be ready for development.

The State Department of Environmental Conservation was on site Wednesday to finish the last step in the clean up process, which involved fixing a leak that was under the business.

Pavia Real Estate officials were standing by, but would not comment on what is coming in to the site.

The building was torn down in April 2011 and Chenango Import Motors went out of business in 2009.
