Helicopters hover over Utica searching for baby Levon
UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The search for nine-month-old Levon Wameling entered day three on Friday, as police brought helicopters in to scour the area of 748 Jay Street in East Utica.
Wameling was reported missing by his grandparents Tuesday afternoon to Oneida County District Attorney Scott McNamara, who then notified police.
Utica Police say they believe the baby went missing on May 29th. His father, Jevon Wameling says he was last seen on the front porch of the Jay Street house in a diaper.
While police have questioned Jevon, they are not considering him a suspect at this point. The main goal is to find the baby.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Levon Wameling is asked to call 1-800-THE-LOST or 1-800-843-5678.
People who live in East Utica are asked to look around their properties for any evidence of what my have happened to baby Levon.
