(WKTV) - The man wanted for questioning in two gun burglaries in Norwich died from hypothermia, New York State Police said.

Christopher M. Gonzalez, 29, was wanted for questioning in two burglaries at Mayhood's Sporting Goods on State Route 12. Officials say the 26 handguns and six long guns that were stolen have been located.

New York State Police in Norwich found Gonzalez dead in a wooded area off Guinn Ridge Road on Friday. The death was ruled accidental after an autopsy determined the primary cause of death was hypothermia, with a secondary contributing factor of drug toxicity.
