Deputies: Pregnant woman rear ended by drowsy driver
LEE CENTER, N.Y. (WKTV) - Authorities responded early Sunday morning to an accident involving a pregnant woman in Lee Center. It happened at 2:06 a.m. when authorities say Jason Moore, 38, of Taberg, fell asleep at the wheel driving west on Rome Taberg Road. They say he rear ended a vehicle driven by a pregnant, Jennifer Hughes, 29, of Lee Center. Hughes was taken to Rome Memorial Hospital for further treatment. No word yet on injuries for the mother and baby. Moore was ticketed for following too closely.
